A Place in Me Named Callie

As friendships go,

ours came and went,

the tides that moved us

apart,

and back again,

bringing me back to you,

to say goodbye.

There will always be

a place in me

named Callie,

where we are singing,

with our gals,

in white shoes fashion.

And now,

valiant friend,

with eyes of mischievous irish blue,

I sing you,

on your way.
