The Choice is Mine

To begrudge,

or not to begrudge.

The choice is mine,

and clear it seems,

yet still I want to sink,

imagining ways to lay her low,

because of happiness

she has earned.

Then I snap,

and back I come,

to the choice:

Can it be this simple?

And then,

I choose.
