The world is rain,
through glass,
on fur, feather, and skin,
under doors.
Beading,
pooling,
coursing,
filling,
and restoring.
In torrents,
and trickles,
into cells,
that swell and absorb,
and with genetic understanding
of what to do
with the rain,
continue to create,
this world.
